In "Forms of Silence," Marcus Vance explores the boundaries of Carrara marble, sculpting fluid, organic forms that challenge the structural density of stone. Each piece, carved by hand over months in his studio in Pietrasanta, evokes a sense of weightlessness and suspension. The exhibition investigates the relationship between negative space, light transmittance, and the tactile tension of polished marble.
